Don’t throw away your old books just yet! Get creative and re-purpose them into a secret storage crate with Aleene’s® Original Tacky Glue.

What you need:

-Aleene’s® Original Tacky Glue 
-Old hard cover books of similar sizes
-Small crate or box
-Box cutter
-Ruler

Use your ruler and box cutter to cut off one side of one of the books.

Repeat this process with another book, but making sure to cut off the cover on the opposite side. These will be the ends of book crate. Use the box cutter to remove all pages from the books.

Cut out the spines from the covers of two more books, leaving a small flap on each side of the binding (for gluing purposes).

Add Tacky Glue to the spines of all four books and glue all the small flaps to the spines.

Apply Tacky Glue to the sides of the spines and glue them together. Make sure to glue the books with the longer covers on each end. Let dry 2-4 hours. Add glue to the box or crate you're using and press in place inside the book covers. Let dry.
