What you need:
  • Aleene’s Clear Gel Tacky Glue
  • Tulip Brush-On Fabric Paint in Gold
  • Cardstock
  • Miniature wooden stars
  • Toothpicks
  • Pencil
  • Scissors

  • Step 1 Trace tree shape with pencil

Fold a piece cardstock in half and trace a tree shape with a pencil, using a stencil if needed. Use scissors to cut along the line, keeping the folded edge intact. Repeat to make at least 8 pairs of paper Christmas tree leaves.

    Step 2 Apply Tacky Glue

Keep the leaves folded and apply Aleenes Clear Gel Tacky Glue to the top side. Press another set of leaves directly on top and hold in place to secure. Repeat with all of your cardstock leaves, then open up your paper Christmas tree and apply glue to the last set of adjoining leaves.

Step 3 Add paint and star

Brush on a bit of gold paint on the edges of your leaves and on your wooden star. Glue the star onto a toothpick for extra stability, then place it atop your paper Christmas tree!
