Make Your Handprints Valentine's Day Card Press painted handprints onto white cardstock

Start by making some handprints. It works best to apply the paint to your child’s hand with a paintbrush or sponge. Have them press their print onto white cardstock and use your scissors to cut out the shape. This process is much cleaner and less stressful than having them leave their print directly on the valentines. Cut another sheet of cardstock in half to be used as the base for your Valentines.

Handprint Ice Cream Cone Valentine's Day Cards Handprint ice cream cone valentine

Cut a triangle out of gold cardstock to use as the cone. Use Aleene’s Acid-Free Tacky Glue to secure the gold cone onto your cardstock base, then glue a handprint upside-down on top of it to create your ice cream scoop. Glue an assortment of colorful beads and a red pompom onto your ice cream handprint for sprinkles and a cherry on top!

Handprint Elephant Valentine's Day Card Handprint Elephant Valentine

Use Aleene’s Acid-Free Tacky Glue to glue a handprint upside-down onto your cardstock base. Draw the elephant’s details (eye, ear, tail, and feet) with Tulip Puffy Paint or a black permanent marker. Place a heart sticker at the end of the tail, or cut some cardstock into a heart shape and glue it in place.

DIY Handprint Dinosaur Valentine's Day Card Handprint Dinosaur Valentine

Use Aleene’s Acid-Free Tacky Glue to glue a handprint to your cardstock base. Cut a few small triangles out of some colorful cardstock and glue them onto the dinosaur’s back. Add a smile and eyes to your dino with Tulip Puffy Paint or a black permanent marker!
