Do you get frustrated because every time you go out to your backyard, the kids’ toys are all over the place? It might be because there’s nowhere to put everything. We have an easy storage solution for you! A simple DIY wood crate is a great way to store toys and looks nice too. Creating your own is super easy once we show you how to glue wood together using Aleene’s Wood Glue.
Here’s how to make a wood crate with wood glue:
Apply glue to unpainted or stained surfaces of clean, dry wood.
While wet, remove any excess glue with a damp cloth.
3. Press or clamp together for approximately 30 minutes.
4. Let dry for 24 hours.
Once the glue is dry and the crate is sturdy,
the kids can paint the crate however they would like and make it their own. These
wood crates are perfect for storage outside as well as inside. They can be used
to store toys, books, extra blankets, shoes or pretty much anything.
And if you don’t want to use your crates for
storage, glue a few together to make your own coffee table and give a new
rustic look to your living room.
