Picture of No-Bake Gingerbread Houses

Here’s a fun twist on building a gingerbread house that doesn’t require baking! Now the house might not smell as good, but these cardboard gingerbread houses will look just as good. Turn some of those old cardboard boxes you have lying around into delectable works of art. Aleene’s True Snow works just like cake and baking icing when applied with a piping bag. So, get to work creating your very own gingerbread house that will last all holiday season long and never go stale!

- Begin by removing all the tape from the boxes and carefully deconstructing them.

- Cut the second and last flap at the top of the box to create roof shape.

- Turn the boxes to the flat side with no markings.

- With a pencil and a ruler, create the gingerbread house doors and windows.

- Fill your icing/decorating bag with Aleene’s snow and begin going over pencil designs. Add your own designs to fill any blank spaces. Let dry

- Once dry, put the box back together to create houses.

- With the craft knife, cut squares out of cardboard to create the top of the roof. Glue on the roof and enjoy.
