Since we were going for a warm summer vibes theme with our quote art, we opted for colors to match. Feel free to mix up your color palette to your liking!

First lay out three strands each of your different colors of embroidery thread. Use another strand or straight edge tool to mark where you want the ends to be (this will help you ensure all strands are the same length).

Cut ends off of threads so they are all the same length.

Tape down the top edges of threads to hold in place, then braid each, tying a knot at ends to secure.

Fold each braided strand in half, then lay out on shirt above pocket, forming an arc with each color. Use the Fabric Fusion Pen to glue in place.

Trim excess thread from the ends and tuck inside of the pocket.

Cut individual strands of thread to create the sunrays. Use the precision tip of the Fabric Fusion Pen to create thin lines of glue extending above the arc for the rays.

Press rays in place over the lines of glue. Let dry completely.
