Even though we're all staying home right now, you can still send love and cheer out into your neighborhood with a bright rainbow hearts window display! This creative project from Mikyla Creates is fun to do solo or with the whole fam if you're looking for an easy activity, and you only need a few supplies! Turn colorful tissue papers into a lovely window display with scissors and Aleene's Stick & Restick; it's not permanent, so you can tack up different displays whenever you're interested in creating something new.
This is such an easy, inexpensive way to create a pretty window display! All you need are scissors, lots of colorful tissue papers and a bottle of Aleene's Stick & Restick.
The tissue papers come folded already, which you can use to your advantage! Leave them folded and draw half hearts along the fold (with the center of the heart aligning with the fold).
Cut out the half hearts, which will create a lot of hearts at once! Cut different sizes and vary it up; this will be important for your display!
You can even cut out the centers of some of the hearts to create hollow hearts for adding extra personality to your window display.
Create lots of hearts with each color!
To tack your hearts onto your window(s), add a few dots of Stick & Restick onto the back of each heart and press onto the window. Do one section of the same color of hearts at a time, forming them in arches in rainbow color order.
And that's it! Such an easy way to spread some cheer to your neighborhood (and your household)! When you're ready to change out your display, simply peel the hearts away and add something new with Aleene's Stick & Restick!
