Simple DIY Truck Terrarium Decor

Bringing plants indoors brightens up your home with greenery, but keeping them alive is a different story! Instead, I turn to beautiful fake succulents to bring plants into my decor and used them to make this simple DIY truck terrarium piece of decor for my shelf. It comes together in less than 10 minutes with a variety of colorful succulents glued inside the bed of a colorful antique-looking truck.

What you need:

  • Large antique-style truck
  • 4-5 fake succulent plants, variety of sizes
  • Aleene's Tacky Glue
  • Small decorative rocks

Step 1: Apply a small amount of glue to the bed of the truck and sprinkle rocks inside so it is about 1/2 inch thick.

Step 2: Apply glue to the end of a large succulent (trim if needed first) and stick into the rocks, pressing against the side of the truck to stick in place.

Step 3: Repeat with another large succulent, followed by smaller succulents to fill in the holes. Set aside to dry completely for several hours and display on a shelf.
